There are so many ways to support your child’s mental health. It can feel like a mind field and information overload. But when focusing on physical exercise and movement, this is key to playing a part of supporting your child’s wellbeing.
There are so many reasons as to why physical exercise can support your child’s mental health. Here, we will list the main points and how you as a parent or carer can encourage, support and join your child in physical activity.
Go on a woodland adventure. Scavenge for treasures and explore a new area.
Put on your favourite music and dance around the living room - this will really get you all moving!
Whether it's in your house or garden, set up an assault course and have a competition!
Let your child explore their garden and have a go at planting some seeds, digging in the dirt or even create their own veggie patch.
Have leftover balloons from a birthday? Try and keep up that balloon without it touching the floor. Watch your heart rate go up!!
