PA Services

Every child deserves the chance to explore, play, and feel confident in the world around them. Our Personal Assistant (PA) Support service offers gentle, one-to-one help for children who need a little extra support to take part in everyday activities — whether that’s joining in with play, getting out into the community, or feeling secure in new environments.

Personalised, child-centred support for children with additional needs

We know that some children find traditional childcare or group settings more challenging. Our PA Support service offers an alternative: flexible, nurturing, one-to-one support that meets each child exactly where they are.

Every child receives a personalised support profile and care plan so sessions have clear purpose — whether the goal is to build confidence, strengthen social skills, explore new environments, or simply enjoy positive, consistent play.

Our trained, caring team gently encourage children to try new experiences at their own pace. From attending a group or visiting a local activity, to developing communication skills or feeling safe with a trusted adult, our PA support helps children feel understood, supported and included.
Many families access this service through Direct Payments or personal budgets, and our team is always happy to guide you through the process.

Supporting children to engage, explore and thrive

Our PA service can be commissioned directly by families, social workers, local authorities and professionals supporting children with additional needs. The service can be used flexibly to support a wide range of needs — from building confidence in new situations to providing structured, purposeful outings and play.

We also work alongside families who are using Direct Payments, helping them understand their funding options and ensuring the support provided meets their child’s needs in a safe, meaningful and enjoyable way.
